Bassist
Scott Walters is a long-time veteran of the Milwaukee music scene
beginning his distinguished career with a band called Blake 7. From
the mid to late 80’s they became one of the largest drawing alternative
rock bands in Milwaukee. They played hundreds of clubs, festivals,
Colleges, made several Television appearances and also stirred interest
from a few record labels. Recently, an anthology CD entitled "Out of the
Shadows" was released.
In 1992
Scott formed an alternative country band called Thin Man. They
released three CDs, toured the Midwest and were nominated for a W.A.M.I.
for best folk/rock group in 1997.
After Thin
Man, Scott formed a hard-rock power-pop group called Joyride,
which lasted a few years,
and later was asked to join the rock group Musabi with who is
currently recording a full length CD.
Bassists that have influenced him are John
Entwistle, Paul McCartney, Bill Wyman, John Paul Jones and Phil Lynott.
